I figured the easiest way to make a link for this was to just create a blog on it. So here’s a little about me.. much to do about nothing.

I was born Lynn-Won Myung in Arcadia Methodist a couple miles from here. Both my parents are native koreans however neither of them have been to Korea in the last 30 so years. I went there in 1999, hated the place. I speak very little korean. At times I’d say I’m more comfortable speaking spanish, although I understand Korean pretty decently.

I changed my name later in 3rd grade to Timothy. People always ask me (and I really don’t know why) if my name is really Timothy instead of just Tim, and yes it does say Timothy on my social security. The origin of the name has been lost. Legend goes, I just woke up one morning and told my parents that was my name.

I studied piano for 8 years starting from when i was 6. I won the 1 and only competition I ever entered. At 14 I quit piano, hated the sight of it and didn’t touch one again for several years. Only recently have I started playing it again with enjoyment.

Questionably, I’m also a black belt in tae kwon do. I don’t really have much to say about.

I bought my first guitar when i was a sophomore in highschool but i didn’t start playing it until 2000 when I lived an apartment without a TV.

Other hobbies I have are playing and watching baseball and football. I bleed Dodger Blue and oddly enough like the Ravens. I recently picked up surfing and soccer. I love building computers and would probably build one for anyone free of charge.. well not the parts but the labour. I love messing with html also.

Excluding God, Family and what was mentioned above, my first love of my life was my pontiac firebird. Originally bought by my dad and then given to my sister and it was passed down to me my senior year of highschool. (I still remember the day we bought it) When I got it, already had 139k miles on it. I put a good 29k miles on it before it gasped it’s last breath that one friday night in the la sierra parking lot. The transmission busted for the 2nd time in a couple months.

To the surprise of many, my second love is Jina. I have my reasons though I’ll choose not to explain.

I’m currently working on a 3rd love.

Lastly, religion is an intricate part of my life. I was born into a Adventist Home. My dad was ordained as an elder very young. My mom was always the church superintendent or choir director or something. My sister was my sabbath school teacher. My brother is a pastor. Me, I try to help out where I can. I currently lead praise for Rosemead. I used to lead family groups and it’s something I did enjoy. Without religion, I’d probably not only have nothing to do on saturdays but I’d be lost the rest of the week as well. I’m a strict vegetarian and don’t drink or smoke but that is only partly because of religion. That being said, I’m not a strict Christian. It’d be no surprise to see me watching TV on sabbath if I’m bored.

That’s all
